2. Check whether the antifreeze level and oil level are normal, whether the oil quality is normal, and check the antifreeze level of the fuel.
If the weather is particularly cold and the excavator has been shut down for a long time, please drain the engine coolant thoroughly. At the same time, in order to prevent battery feeding, the battery must be removed and stored in a warm place.
4. Start the engine and run it at intervals. If the antifreeze level and engine oil level are lower than the normal level, please add them to the normal level in a timely manner before starting. In cold weather, place the key in the warm-up position until the warm-up light is on (repeat the warm-up several times), and then start the engine. After 5-10 minutes of idle operation, operate each cylinder no-load for 5-10 times, each time 5-10 mm smaller than the stroke. Quickly operate each oil cylinder for 5-10 times with engine revolutions, and simultaneously operate left and right rotation and forward and backward travel for 3 times. Normal operation is not allowed until the system temperature rises to 50 – 80 degrees Celsius. Continue to operate all operating devices for 5-10 minutes, and then stop the engine.
5. Diesel fuel should be replaced with models - 10 to - 30, depending on the region. The more north the region is, the more diesel fuel should be added. In addition, the diesel filter should be replaced. The engine oil should be replaced with locally applicable thickened engine oil, and the engine oil filter should also be replaced. If there is any oil leakage in the hydraulic system, it should be replaced in a timely manner. If conditions permit, the oil tank should be well insulated.
6. The heat dissipation system should carefully check whether the rubber hose is aged or broken, and if there is a problem, it should be replaced in a timely manner because these places are more prone to problems in winter. If it is possible to provide hot water, the water tank heats up the water every day to better start the engine, but be careful not to forget to drain the water. The reason why adding antifreeze is not recommended is that adding antifreeze in particularly cold areas is more difficult to start the engine.
